Ablution

Combining the 1940’s pop art pin-up girl world and the movements of a common garden leech, Ablution is a humorous and startling dance theatre composition that examines the fine line between what is beautiful and what is grotesque. In a Vaudevillian series of thematically linked dances, songs, video interviews, and pantomimes, Ablution is a visual musing on the ridiculous nature of the modern rituals of femininity. Ablution allows the most gorgeous of women to get in touch with her inner leech, and revel in her own grotesqueness!
