BOARD OF ADVISORS

ELAINE COHEN is an award-winning information architect and interactive producer. She has developed Websites and kiosk projects for numerous art and media institutions including The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum of American Art, CNN, HBO, The School of Visual Arts, Oxygen Media, Lego, and RCA Records. She has lectured at various art education conferences including the National Art Education Association. Additionally, she is the author of SUPER DUPER CUPCAKES, a book that features 27 easy-to-do cupcake decorations for children and their families. It was published in 2006 by Sterling Publishing.

PIERO MANARA, raised between Italy and France, is an interior architect/designer. He studied Interior Architecture in Paris and came to New York upon graduating in 1992. He worked in NYC until 2009, first with Robert Couturier, then opening his own practice under the name of “Beautiful Modern World” and then “Piero Manara + Associates”. His main interest is the interaction between body and space, and has always been an admirer of the works of artists such as Robert Wilson and Pina Bausch. Piero is now based in Paris, France.

ANTONIO HOFBAUER is currently an independent consultant working with start-up ventures that have transformational ideas but need a roadmap and funding to achieve their dream. His professional career started 14 years ago at McKinsey and Company. He continued his interest in the financial services space by joining American Express. Most recently, Antonio spent three years at Virgin USA, Richard Branson's investment arm in the US. He is a self-proclaimed aficionado of the New York Times crossword puzzle and secretly covets Will Shortz' job. He is currently working on pondering wireless electricity, cross-border money transfers and developing thicker skin.

TAMARA OYOLA SANTIAGO is a public health educator who specializes in harm reduction. She works with injection drug users and homeless individuals in Puerto Rico and New York City. She believes that happiness is critical to well being and that arts are critical to happiness.
