KIMON KERAMIDAS (Web Developer)

Kimon has a wide array of experience across the theatrical and not-for-profit spectrum. After graduating Swarthmore College with a B.A. in Theatre, Kimon spent three years working in regional theatres in Washington D.C. and New Jersey( Studio Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, and New Jersey Shakespeare Festival). In 2001, Kimon began a Ph.D. in Theatre at the CUNY Graduate Center which he completed in 2008. While finishing his Ph.D. Kimon worked with the Builders Association on Alladeen and Super Vision and was also scenic designer for the LITE Company (Romeo and Juliet, The King Stag, and The Master of Prayer). Kimon also does web development and information systems consultation for organizations such as the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center, PreludeNYC, Abingdon Theatre, Left Forum, and the Stage Directors and Choreographers' Foundation (SDCF). Kimon has also taught courses on theatre, new media, and instructional technology and pedagogy at The Cooper Union, Marymount Manhattan College, the CUNY Graduate Center, and in CUNY's Online Baccalaureate Program. Currently Kimon is the Digital Media Lab Coordinator for the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design, and Culture.
