Teaching

Bring Ex.Pgirl to a college near you!

Since 2001, Artistic co-Directors Bertie Ferdman and Suzi Takahashi have been teaching theatre and performance at various campuses including: Manhattanville College, Marymount Manhattan College, Swarthmore College, Hunter College, and the City College of New York.

Courses: Individually, Bertie and Suzi have taught a wide range of courses such as: Body Movement, Viewpoints (training and composition), Physical Theatre, Solo Performance, Mask Training, and Contemporary Performance (theory and practice).

Workshops: Bertie and Suzi are also available for co-teaching performance workshops in: Movement for Actors, Physical Theatre, Storytelling through Movement, and Ensemble Creation.

Residencies: We are also available for artist residencies to create, develop, and perform an original dance theatre piece devised with theatre students at the university level. Ex.Pgirl is company in residence (2009-2010) at the Department of Entertainment Technology at City Tech where they will work on the completion of Paris Syndrome.
